Greetings, I am Gmr Leon, Moderator of the Lore Forum on GWO, and leader of the Archivists' Sanctum.

About the Archivists' Sanctum.
We are currently a small guild, with the majority of us active, and we have members from both America and Europe, albeit with Europe being the minority. Most of us are from America, and reside in the Eastern or Central time zones. That aside, we are a mainly PvE oriented guild, with our main interest lying in the lore of the game, thus, most of our discussions tend to regard this information. However, when we're not discussing it, or out exploring and researching, most of us are doing what any other PvE player does today, title-hunting, dungeon farming, farming, or just doing missions for a particular character. It is also the opportune time for people to ask questions about areas of the lore they're foggy on, as while most of us don't know every little detail, we know enough to explain it fairly well.

While this may be met with argument, this is the nature of bringing intellectuals together in one place, and part of our rules is that the members should argue respectfully, not using insults or underhanded methods to throw one's ideas out. Given, there may be cases where repetition occurs in pointing out the lack of complete legitimacy due to the nature of the information's finding, or its conceptual stages, but these are not to be considered underhanded methods.

Those aspects aside, we reside in the Isle of Weeping Stone guild hall, and have many of the usual services purchased, such as the Merchant, Skill Trainer, Priest of Balthazar, and the like, and we are a Kurzick-aligned guild.

Recruitment Application.
You can apply for our guild on our guild site, found here. Or, you can simply respond here, with the following basic information (same as in the application form found on the site):

What is your IGN? (In-game Name)
What timezone do you play in?
Which world region are you in? (Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, etc.)
Are you active, if so, to what extent? And how long do you tend to play when you do play?
Any miscellaneous information you feel like entering here.

Given the nature of our guild, we would prefer mature, patient, and, most of all, laidback members who don't get too serious in a debate. It's all fiction after all, no need to get heated up and angry over it. Oh, and not to mention, people who can stand a tad bit of crude humor every now and then, and don't mind cursing. While I keep myself from doing so, I understand that with others, it's simply in their nature.

General Info.
Once you've submitted your application here or on our site, either myself or one of our officers will process it, and either the officer or myself will contact you in-game just to ask if you're still interested, and if you still are, will admit you to the guild. If I'm online, at the time, the process might go a bit slower, as they may relay it to me for confirmation on admittance. Most of the time though, if you're interested, you've applied, and spoken to one of our officers or myself, you'll be admitted.

All of these are their in-game names, and mine is on the left-hand side of my post and the bottom of this post.

Since we're still small, our rules are small:
Be respectful, and argue respectfully, no insults, no underhanded tactics.
Be understanding. We can't always help you with everything, but if we're not busy with something else or have to be somewhere in a moment, chances are we'll be willing to help you.
Be patient. Similar to the above, but if we're out in the field and we catch something of interest, we're going to examine it. It's just part of what we do. So, please, be patient with what may appear to be ADD in us.
And just for the cheesy factor, enjoy yourself! It's a game, no need to have fits over it.
